My old high back office chair got old and lost its padding, then I lost weight and lost mine. Being short, I tend to sit further forward in the chair in order to reach my laptop comfortably so my thighs were resting on the front edge/frame of the chair, with my legs all but falling sleep. I'd hoped that this cushion would alleviate that, but the dense foam is rather unforgiving on the front edge, so I still find even the cushion gouging the back of my legs and them getting tingly after extended sitting. It's probably a matter of personal preference, but I thought it would be a little squishier, like the memory foam in my shoes. OTOH, my chair has lost its piston action, so it's too low and this cushion does a good job of get me to a better height. I may consider using this for my car instead, since I need height there and I don't sit as long as when I'm working. The other issue I have is that the back strap isn't long enough to go around the back of the "executive" chair. That's not a big issue, because it doesn't really slide. All in all, it's a nice cushion, just not quite what I'd expected.I love these cushions in my car. I have a sporty Mazda 6 that I drive on long trips. The stiff seats have been giving me hip and back pain, but these cushions solved the discomfort of long trips! Just returned from a 1000+ mile trip using these, and I didn't realize a simple cushion could result in such relief--I was ready to trade my car in just because of the seat discomfort! They fit the seats, the foam does not flatten out, and the cushions don't move around. I'll buy again if needed!This is very comfortable for the most part but it has taken a little getting used to because although my butt fits pretty well my thighs don't go together enough to comfortably stay on. This is a bit to narrow to fill my full chair the way the picture in the add shows and the ridge/edge of the cushion where my thighs go over the side was a bit uncomfortable. I got accustomed to it after the second day so I'll keep it for what comfort it does provide. If there was a wider option for it I'd elect for an exchange though. If you're a relatively smaller person and your legs sit together tightly then this will be very comfortable if you're like me and a little on the bigger size and your thighs don't come together tightly when you sit down you may want to select something else. All-in-all I'll keep it.After giving birth to my first baby, sitting for a while then getting up to walk was a little rough. When I went back to work, my pelvic tendants would hurt to walk after sitting at my desk. After buying this cushion I don’t have that pain any more!I bought this to use as a car seat, unfortunately, it is too thick and my head is hitting the roof line. Definitely not suitable for car seat. However, the cushion is best use on the computer chair.I BOUGHT THIS TO USE IN MY RECLINER, BUT IT DID NOT WORK OUT, BEING UNCOMFORTABLE. HOWEVER IT WORKS GREAT IN THE CAR. I SUPPOSE IT WAS DESIGNED FOR CARS AND OFFICE CHAIRS, AND NOT LOUNGE CHAIRS LIKE SOFAS OR RECLINERS.I got this because my desk chair started getting REALLY hard/uncomfortable on my butt & I struggle with lower back pains.I swear I can sit on this chair for HOURS & not feel pain at all. I’m about 200lbs & the cushion has not flattened yet. It flattens a bit while sitting on it, but always puffs back up when I get out of the chair.I would definitely recommend for lower back pains, but I would also suggest getting another cushion/piece for your back to lean against.I’m short, so sitting all the way back in the chair is a struggle & because that’s uncomfortable for me, I tend to hunch more. I bought a brand new gaming chair and the seat was extremely hard and stiff and immediately went looking for a cushion and this fit it perfectly, it looks like part of the chair, and it feels absolutely amazing. I have been sitting on it for anywhere from 2 to 10 hours a day for weeks now and it still looks and feels exactly like it did the day I got it. LOVE it!!!
