I bought this to protect hardwood floors under dog pads while I’m at work. It’s been wonderful!I wish it was thicker and would lay flat. Took a while for it to stop coming up on the edgesThis is a very pliable protector and works just fine for it's purpose. My only negative is that it tends to slip when you move in a chair with rollers.The mat is ok, but it slides around on the LVP so much that my chair is nearly always inadvertently off the mat. Kind of loses the point.I want to tell the experience of buying this product.This product arrived before the promised date. I am very glad this product arrived earlier.before buying this product I saw the reviews of other people who have already bought this product. but I see there are only a few reviews. I doubt this product. but when I read other people's reviews about this product. how surprised I am all the very good and convincing reviews.without thinking I bought this product. because I really need it.and how surprised I was again, when the goods arrived early.I immediately rushed to try, it turns out this product is amazing. I will not be disappointed buying this productPerfect chair mat for my wood floor. I urgently need a chair mat to protect my hardwood floor which has been scratched a bit. This chair mat for hardwood floor is hard, but looks very durable and importantly it is easy to unroll if use correct method. I followed the seller's method in the picture, pulled one side and knelt on it to hold it in place. Then I knelt forward, grasping the open ends of the mat and lift unroll. Finally, I put some weights on the corners and the center and leave overnight. Surprisingly and excitingly, the chair mat was completely flatten out next morning after I removed the heavy weights. It’s not as difficult to unroll as others say. I like it. I hope my way is helpful to other buyers.The photo shows how it fits in relation to a desk. Does not stay in place. Do not buyI was shocked to see this come rolled up, but after letting it warm up, it was fine to roll out. It provides good protection to my wood floor in my office.Don't waste your money unless you have too much time on your hands. Obliterated the mat with every hardback book in the house ( that's a lot of books). Then added heavy objects and left it to flatten for 4 days. Mat was flat but had evenly spaced wrinkles running across the whole long side. Why? Because when the mat arrived it was folded into an oblong shape in an oblong box. Hair dryered it, but it was still wrinkled. So if you want a large very clear Walkers Crinkle Crisp on your floor this is it! I returned it and bought a Kaiser Plastic hardfloor 'chairmat' on Amazon that arrived packed flat, flat, flat. No drama and totally worth the extra fiver or so.This product is not fit for purpose. The plastic is so stiff they must have rolled it using a machine. To come with instructions on how to unroll (using a shower or hair dryer) is just useless. I’ve had to tape it to my floor to remove the trip hazard, and after 3 nights of having heavy objects on the corners it’s still rolling up.Worst of all the surface had no friction qualities, so my chair still flies across the floor...I should have read the reviews... Would give 0 stars but not possible.1. the mat is square, not like the one on the photo.2. the mat is stiff like a stone, warm water and blow dryer didn’t help.3. it’s not flat on the ground which makes it impossible to use without falling over the edges.Great, doesnt affect the ability of the chair to glide, protects the floor and easy to clean, top buyCertainly protects the floor, however, slides around and was very difficult to flatten out. Followed instructions, resorted to a heat gun.
