I love the new wheels. They are way better than I could have imagined! Awsome.Great product. They glide over the tile floor like on ice.Nice wheels but the chair now moves by itself,i like them,but my daughter doesn't because when she sits on the chair it keeps moving and she bumps in the wall or the furniture ? because of this issue only i was thinking to give them even 3 starsWhy didn't someone think of this sooner. My chair wheels were destroying my floors and would always get jammed up with pet hair or thread ( I sew a lot). These are so smooth and easy on the floor. Also I believe the design will make them less likely to get jammed up and easier to clean. I could not be happier and will be buying more.I love love love these. I have a great chair, but cheap plastic wheels. I had a hard time putting these on, but that was strictly my own fault. I thought you had to unscrew the old wheels and then put these in. You don't. You just have to prise out the old wheels with a screwdriver, then these just slide right in with a click.EDIT: After I had these for a few months, I noticed one of the wheels started not wanting to roll. After turning the chair over and inspecting the wheel, I realized that there are small rubber tabs that are supposed to fit into the wheel hub to keep the wheel intact. However, one of the tabs had separated from the hub and was sticking out.I tried to work it back in but failed. Eventually the wheel actually broke in half. Probably just a flute.wow, I'm sliding all over the floor on these new wheels. I didn't realize how poor the stock wheels were until I upgraded to these. Didn't make sense to get rid of the chair because of the previous wheels. A HUGE difference!!!These wheels are great. They glide across the floor with no effort at all. I highly recommend them for office chairs or chairs with 5 wheels. They do not glide easily with some of the chairs with only 4 wheels.installed ok. chair glided on the garage floor effortlessly.We have 2 chairs in 2 different rooms for computers. One is in an office with laminate flooring and we found the standard black plastic wheels that came with the office chair to be very noisy and any movement on the chair would travel through the house. With these wheels the noise is all but eliminated and moving around on the floor was very easy, so perfect for that set up.The other chair is in a bedroom which is carpeted and we thought these wheels might have made moving the chair around a little easier. They didn't. They were certainly no worse than the standard wheels that came with the chair. but there was no real noticeable difference between them and these so in hindsight, I'd probably only buy again for rooms with laminate/hardwood flooring...These look fine and are a straight swap with the original casters on my Umi chair. However, they perform worse than the originals. Like the originals they kind of work on a carpeted surface, once you're moving. Most of the time you only need to pull a chair into a desk or push it back to get out, or maybe move a few inches to one side of a big desk.This involves turning the wheels to point in a new direction and these just refuse to do that when sitting in the chair. Even if you get out of the chair it's not easy. It's not as if I have a deep pile carpet either - very short pile in fact.Disappointing.I have an old office chair that I have for my home office. It had those fairly flimsy plastic casters on them and over the years one has broken and been replaced, then another etc.Another one broke there this week and rather than just replacing one at a time, I decided to buy this full set of 5 wheels.The entire body of these are metal and feel really robust. Plus the wheels are rubber rather than plastic, so glide over the wooden floor really well and won't mark the floor.I only got them and installed then there today, but I reckon they will prove to be a really good purchase.Super fast delivery also. Arrived sooner than expectedProduct: Poor quality, the wheels get stuck and you need to jolt them to ge them going. It is not nearly as smooth as I thought it would be. I am using them on laminate flooring. It's also noisy as the metal parts making contact with each other is constantly clattering away as you move on the chair. OK-ish but not impressed, marginally better and worse at the same time to original castors.Seller: BEWARE. This product is not fulfilled by Amazon and only by the Seller directly. It is shipped from CHINA. They sent me the wrong item, wrong colour with two faulty wheels. As the order is not filled by Amazon, expect the same shady customer service from Sellers as with the other auction site. They got the order wrong and insisted I return it back to them in China, at my cost. Poor!Bought these as replacement wheels for a desk chair. Arrived within the stipulated time. After removing the existing wheels it was a simple job inserting these new castors. The previous castors had stopped turning and some had started to fall apart. The new wheels are free flowing and the chair now glides easily across the floor. The new wheels have given extended life to a chair that was destined for the recycling pile.Definitely worth the money if you just need to upgrade a chair.
