What else can I say, we are on replacement base 4 of ??? All of the "new" office chairs we purchased as we returned to the office after the initial COVID shut down, came with "heavy duty" plastic bases...enter eye roll here. We have to date replaced 4 of the 5 using this type of metal, actually heavy duty, base. They are wonderful!I weigh well below the maximum weight. One of the plastic legs snapped—broke completely. I wrote to seller twice. No response. It is garbage.It was just what we need thank you. It is nice and sturdy, which is what we wanted.Worth the money, very sturdy and I don’t think it will break anytime soon as the other basic plastic ones do.Unable to use this item because it was not the right product I needed a heavy duty chair base in black, it was not what I needed.Item retuned for refund. Thank you.And fits most chairsPerfect fit for my old she know you got extra life out of it
