Build quality is below average. The bolt holes or inserts on the seat are off and require opening up the holes to get the seat back (and, thus, the lumbar support) to come close to lining up properly. The lumbar support is canted inward on one side which causes it to poke into your ribs at best and forces your back out of position at worst. The headrest doesn’t stay up, making it pretty much useless. I’ve bought chairs online in the past and this is by far the one I like the least.We live in a camper, and really needed the folding functionality this chair provides to tuck the chair away when it’s not being used.This chair has resolved my problem, and is WAY more comfortable than the folding chair I was sitting in before.It’s comfort level is average for an office chair - good enough to sit at with no back problems. The plastic lumbar support piece does sometimes dig into my back a little, but it hasn’t been significant enough to cause any major issues.after a few months of use the screws get loose and the seat gets a little wobbly, but this is pretty typical to most chairs like this. Tightened the screws and was good to go. I wish the manufacturer would provide lock washers or something to keep the screws from loosening, that would be a nice touch.UPDATE: About 5 months after I started using this chair, the metal bracket holding the back straight snapped, and the bracket is buried deep in the material in the chair. There doesn’t appear to be an easy way to fix this, either. So now I’m in an RV with a broken chair just as uncomfortable as I was before I purchased this.The idea is great, and the chair was quite comfortable before this happened but I don’t think I’ll be replacing it with the same chair.Possibly one of the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever had the misfortune to sit in. Due to an unexpected delay on our end we had missed the return window, so we were stuck. We all found it impossible to sit in this thing more than a few minutes without the hard plastic piece on the back jamming into our lower backs. And the seat back itself is curved at a really odd, almost nonhuman angle. We can’t for the life of us figure out who would sit in that position with their back arched like that—contortionists, perhaps? My partner was able to saw off the annoying back piece, and we’re hoping over time and with enough counter pressure the seat back will loosen up some. It is nice to have a mesh seat back on hot days, though. The seat cushion itself is pretty comfortable, but it’s slopes downward slightly at an odd angle. The lever to raise and lower the seat is also on the left, if that is an issue with anyone. Additionally, the arms do not raise up high enough, and it’s not easy to depress the button to lower the seat back itself. The chair itself does roll nicely. Definitely would not recommend and it is seriously over-priced for what it is.Two of the legs broke after only a week of use, on a tile floor.You get what you pay for with this one. It was super easy to assemble. I was looking for an inexpensive office chair that folds to fit in my small home office. It does the job. It’s not the most comfortable chair, but it works. If you are looking for a comfortable ergonomic chair, this isn’t for you. All the screw caps kept falling out and the screw on one of the arms kept loosening. I can live with those small complaints, it was when two of the leg decided to snap off and send me flying backwards is when I had an issue.Time for a new chair and I can guarantee that it wont be another of these cheaply built death traps.Not worth more than $50 in my view. It does the job - I needed a temporary office chair - but I would not use it for the long term. Feels cheap and plastic-y. I got it because others chairs had longer shipping times and I needed a chair quickly. The shape of the back is nice though; it’s providing back support (so far).
